A power rack, squat stands, a full dumbbell rack and benches — with mirrors behind the rack so you can watch your own form instead of guessing.

The fine print, in plain words: the two monthly plans carry a $50 annual maintenance fee, billed once a year. Here for a week or two instead? A one-week pass is $20 and a two-week pass is $30 — one payment, nothing renews. Every plan is for one person; there are no family or household plans.

The roof came down at the old building on Lapeer Road and we had to shut the doors — and some of you kept getting billed while we were closed. That was on us. So here is the same deal we posted the day we reopened: any past-due balance from before the move disappears when you rejoin. No argument, no collections letter, no cancellation fee.

The questions we get asked at the counter
- Is Blue Water Fitness open 24 hours?
- Yes. Blue Water Fitness is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Members open the door with the GymSwype app at any hour, including holidays. Desk hours vary, so call (810) 772-6568 before you drive over if you need a person.
- How much does a gym membership cost in Port Huron at Blue Water Fitness?
- A 12-month membership is $25 a month and includes Level 4 and 5 tanning and 24-hour access. Month to month with no agreement is $40. A day pass is $10, a one-week pass is $20 and a two-week pass is $30. Every plan covers one person — there are no family plans.
- Do I have to sign a contract?
- No. The $40 month-to-month membership has no agreement and you can stop whenever you want. Day, one-week and two-week passes are a single payment with nothing that renews. The $25 rate is the 12-month plan, and both monthly plans carry a $50 annual maintenance fee.
- Do members under 18 need a waiver?
- Yes. Anyone under 18 needs a one-time waiver, signed in person during staffed hours — it can't be done in the app. It is signed once, not every visit. A free tour is the easiest time to do it, since someone is at the desk for every tour, or call (810) 772-6568 to ask when to come in.
- Is tanning included with a membership?
- Yes. Level 4 and Level 5 tanning — a lay-down bed and a stand-up booth in a private room off the gym floor — is included with every membership and every day pass. There is no separate tanning package, no second card on file and no upsell at the counter.
- Where is Blue Water Fitness?
- 3329 Dove Rd in Port Huron, Michigan, behind Redline Auto Repair. We moved here from the old building on Lapeer Road and reopened in June 2026. If a directory still lists 2422 Lapeer Rd, it is out of date.
- I was a member before the move and still have a balance. What happens to it?
- It goes away when you rejoin. Any past-due balance from before the closure is erased, with no collections letter and no cancellation fee from the period the doors were shut. Tell the desk you were a member before and it is handled.
